I've been working in Hanoi for a month now and I'm keen to get out of the city on my two days off. Are there any suggestions, as to where I could go? ( it's a general question, I know). I have a scooter.
I've heard once a year there's a mass slaughter of dogs (somewhere in the North-East) for a special banquet, which is attended by hundreds to welcome a new period/and or time of year (???). I'd be pretty willing to check that out! If I haven't already missed it  . Does anyone have info on this? |
