Hello all,

I was asked to provide a letter of recommendation from one of my previous students (tutoring) for the immigration office in Japan. I asked a good friend of mine to do it, but she has never written a letter of recommendation before.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out on this and provide some feedback on how to address the office of immigration in Japan when writing a letter of recommendation in Japanese?

Or at the very least, if someone could provide a link to a few sample letters written in Japanese I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance guys.
