I am leaving for Mexico Sat. July 5. I recently had shoulder surgery and was prescribed Vicodin which I intend on taking with me due to the pain that I am still experiencing. My question is whether or not I need any other documentation other than what is on the bottle? Do I need a doctor's note? I am also bringing cipro, which I assume I don't need a note for.
Thanks! |

My son is on several medications, including adderall and comes to visit me with no problem. Medicine is in original bottle with label.
With Vicadin, just to be on the safe side, you might want to bring a doctor's note. Just be sure the name on the bottle matches your passport in case someone wants to get snippety.
Now if youre bringing a 6 month supply... you might need to justify it .. but with a single bottle following all procedure... you should be just fine. |
