Hi -- For anybody out there interested in knowing more about US presidential hopeful Howard Dean, he'll be holding a teleconference with global branches of Democrats Abroad on Thurs., Dec. 11. There are branches of Dems Abroad in all sorts of places, including Shanghai, Thailand, Singapore, Tokyo, and even someplace in Nepal. There are branches in most European countries, and there is even one starting up in Croatia. If you're interested, take a gander at the Democrats Abroad website, and drop them an e-mail to find the location nearest you. The m.o. will be as follows -- you'll assemble with others in your area around a speaker phone, Dean will be patched through to locations around the globe simultaneously, and several people will be able to ask him questions.
