Never worked there though worked in Bahrain for a while. Had a friend who worked with me and who used to work for the place you are asking for before. She was surely happy with the money she was making there, more or maybe much more than she was making while working with me for one of the prestigious Bahraini universities, if not the most prestigious one.
She used to say that the students there were not the most accomplished ones, more to the contrary to be frank; her greatest problem was not teaching but more managing her classes discipline -wise, discipline and sort of overall control of the youth being her main focus; the students were not unruly and nasty at all - Bahrainis are usually nicely modest and placid in temper people- but they simply were not very academically gifted so hence the discipline focus being the main one and the educational on being far in the foreground of the process;
All in all, she quite didn't mind it, had opportunities of overtime ample, good housing and all in all plenty of leeway with her life. No idea about the salary she made there, but the one she was making at the prestigious uni was around 1000BD and she had a feeling, pretty painful, of a substantial financial loss, so might have been a substantial bit more; Know no more. Bahrain is in my opinion a very good place.
