If a Taiwanese school states in a teacher wanted advert that free accommodation comes with the job (i.e. free digs on school grounds), could this be taken as a truth, or should it be taken with a pinch of salt? This question is from a foreigner who has an experienced mind-set of Thai culture (reality). Heard any horrors stories of promised digs? |

They are normally there, how good they are is another matter. Most teachers don't stay in school property after the first few months unless they are going to be here only a year. |

Could be anything from a dorm to a private apartment.
Best to clarify with the school exactly what kind of accomodation it will be before accepting any position. |
