Here's the deal. I am in Kaohsiung, Taiwan for 2 months at the National Sun Yat Sun university studying mandarin.
I would like to supplement my income by teaching English somehow -- maybe privates?
I have two degrees: BA in English with minor in Journalism, and B.Sc in Computer Science with minor in Linguistics. I did not bring my diplomas with me. I am well qualified to teach English, though I know I will have to teach illegally here since my visa is not a work visa. I have afternoons and weekends free.
Is there any possibility of English teaching work here for me? And if so, how do I go about acquiring this work? |

| You can probably pick up some private students, and the best way to do that is through word of mouth. Perhaps you can substitute for someone who is going away on a summer jaunt. |
