Hello! I just posted a similar post in the General Middle East forum and then realized that there is a specific one for Qatar.......Sorry!

I am an American female who has been offered a teaching position in Qatar.

My husband is Yemeni and my question is will he be able to visit me in Qatar? He has no desire to work in Qatar as he's well-educated and holds a very good position in Yemen.

I won't take the postion in Qatar if it's impossible for him to freely get a visa to visit.

No problem if he's the right nationality. All Europeans and North Americans can get a visit visa at the airport. I've heard the fees have gone up. Some other countries, especially Asian and African, are more restricted and you have to get a visa from the Qatar Embassy.
