This has likely been covered before, but the search function here is not very good. Is the list below an accurate list of documents required for a visa application?:
� passport
� "Certificate of Eligibility" from sponsor or guarantor in Japan
� University diploma
� two 45mm x 45mm passport-type photos taken within the previous six months
� two official visa application forms, available at the embassy or consulate

Well generally, you send a couple of things over to your sponsor in Japan (if that's the way you're doing things)
Usually it's something like:
1. copy of passport page
2. copy of diploma (some places ask for the actual)
3. 2-4 passport style photos
Then the sponsor does their work with the ministry and gets a COE, which they ship over to you. You then apply at consulate/embassy with the items you listed (minus the diploma).
There are other ways too... but I think that's the most standard. |
