For business English you need to have teaching experience and know what you are about. It helps to have a degree in business. In Asia you need to get into the local business expat scene. This is a lot different from being in a group of foreign teachers hanging out a bar somewhere. Business expats earn big money in Asian cities so you need to be cashed to go out with them. You get the better jobs through contacts.

Working at an institute teaching business English pays about a quarter of being contracted to a big company as their in house English teacher.

s0436, the answer depends on where you want to go.

The European teaching market is PRIMARILY business English at the newbie level. A CELTA along with a degree in anything at all is enough for you to secure decent newbie-level jobs.

The work consists mostly of traveling to the offices of your students to deliver lessons on whatever they specifically need - but most of this teaching is in the 'general business' rather than any specific business genre.
