If you're a golfer, Riyadh has a beautiful, lush, green golf course. The weather means it can be enjoyed all year. |

Hi Sheikh
Just wondering if the golf course is on the BAE compound or open for anyone in Riyadh to use. Would you know if membership is necessary or if reciprocal membership conventions are in place - ie a discount applies if a member of another golf club?
Thanks

The course is private and has nothing to do with BAE. It's good but not cheap. I was paying 14,000 riyals per annum (2001-2004). As far as I know there are no reciprocal membership conventions.
They have a website. Do a google search. Dirabgolf.
Good luck and good golfing.
Regards

Thanks SR
Maybe I'll do a few more rounds before coming over for that price. I reckon the green grass would be nice though. |
