A couple of years ago I went to a party at the Polish embassy attended by none other by Lech Walesa. He was in town to thank the King for sponsoring a similar operation on Polish conjoined twins. |

Not only that, but apparently air mail is postmarked with a stamp saying Kingdom of Humanity, so therefore it MUST be, right?! |

And politicians are known to kiss babies.
Does that make them baby-friendly...or is it jes' lip service?
Ask the person next to you day after tomorrow at ChopChop Square...

Oops! I missed that COMPLETELY, Asda! Upon re-read, I see that. My bad.
All I can say is that while the current king "rocks"...head continue to "roll"!
(Doesn't match my definition of "rock"!
Apologies,

if mr king abdullah is a lot better in something than the previous ones, it is that he understands very well the importance of international PR and acts upon it
as for the rest - same same as ever before
ah and dont you think that these 'favours' come free - build a mosque here, a madrassa there - we are friends now, arent we? |

well Asda...Saudi Arabia is a kingdom and it is full of humans therefore logic suggests that it is a 'kingdom of Humanity' sorry, if I don't get your irony... Humanity may refer to:
The human species
The total world population of humans
Human nature, psychological characteristics that all normal humans have in common
Compassion, altruism, or similar positive aspects of human nature along with aggression, fear, or similar negative aspects
The human condition, the totality of experience of existing as a human
The humanities, academic disciplines which study the human condition using analytic, critical, or speculative
methodshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humanity |

But, is not "humanity" a cognate of humane? If so, then Asda's and my sarcasm ring a bell.
Or, did someone conveniently leave that out of "wikipedia"?

I think this is the point that NCTBA is trying to make. These qualities were conspicuously absent in any Saudi administrator that I had to deal with. |

...as I told my last saudi HR person at SALTS when I was told to send my family off after I had lost some very dear friends the night before (in the 2003 Riyadh attacks) and I was told that I would foot the bill (thankfully Raytheon would have nothing of it!)...it's time to put the "human" back into "Human Resources"!
NCTBA
BTW: Raytheon is the best and most humane employer in the k.o.p....hands down. Thanks, Russ! |

Dear NCTBA,
"Raytheon is the best and most humane employer in the k.o.p....hands down."
Hmm, rather a sweeping statement. Perhaps if you had added, "Based on my experience . . . "

Dear zooey,
There's a big post office just as you enter Batha.
