My wife and I are interested in being homestay hosts(heh is that what the are called?? ) Anyways, we are not sure where to go to, or how to go about advertising this fact. Does anybody have any insight into homestaying, and any advice, hints, warning etc...
any input would be a great help!
Cheers! |

Where are you? Who are you looking to host? When I used to live in Vancouver, there were homestay agencies that one could register with, or you could just call the housing director of a language school. If you are in Japan, the only organization that I know of that organizes homestays in English speaking homes for Japanese students of English is a not for profit called Kokusai Hiroba (That is a F ukuoka based international oraganization) |
