Can anyone tell me, with reference either in English or Chinese, what the law in Taiwan requires for notice to leave a job? |

Ok, thank you. Now we at least no that tealit claims this article 16 business, which is good enough for me.
How about from experience? Can anyone verify this from experience?
I've heard that if a buxiban wants to cause you problems, there is pretty much NOTHING stopping them from sending a letter full of lies about you to the Council of Labor Affairs (CLA), and making it difficult or impossible for you to get any more work permits. A bureaucrat at CLA told me that. In fact, he said: "law about how many weeks notice you must give? this is pretty unclear in Taiwan law."
Something tells me that in reality it just comes down to luck, uncontrollable cirumstances, such as the mood of your buxiban, their connections in the CLA, etc. In other words, corruption.
Opinions? |
