I'm thinking about heading down to Vietnam to kill sometime while I try to land a university job up in Korea.

If you could go anywhere to work for only three to six months where would you go? What about if you wanted to save a $1000 or so in that time?

Everyone says how easy it is to get work there. Is it reasonable to think that I can just show up, find work, and support myself for a few months? Is it possible to save money working there? What's a reasonable idea of the hours I'd have to work to have a reasonable standard of living?

I have a couple years adult/college student teaching experience but no certifications and only a B.A.
