so lets start by saying hello to everyone and thanking you all in advance for any help you could give me.
basically it goes like this.....i have a tesol certificate and no BA. i have read other posts and people say that it doesn't really matter if you have a BA or not. a lot of people simply recommend going to vietnam and walking into schools to find a job, usually they are found quite easily. my only problem is that i am a little uneasy in doing this. i would like to know that i would have atleast some employment before i go there. don't get me wrong i am not picky and i am not looking for the "golden egg" of esl jobs, i am just simply looking for a little security. i have been to many other websites and job banks and while they all provide good points of reference i was hoping that this (being the best esl site) would be the one to answer my concerns.
is there a good chance of me finding a job before i go? do you any leads that you could help me with?
finally i should add that i am not planning on going in september as i have other commitments, but i am able and willing to go anytime from october on. |

Walking into schools is not everyones cup of tea, but when you don't have loads of quals it's sometimes the best way to go.
Contact Stamford Grammar, VATC or VUS they offer contracts before entering the country I think. Flick them an email see how you go. Degree maybe required but not sure, worth a try. |
