Does anyone know where I can get a list of the 'approved' universities. I've heard different thoughts.
1) That the list is updated every year]
2) The list hasn't been updated for over 10 years.
You could find that your BA/MA/PHd was in vain!
What's the deal and where can we get the list from? |

Approved by who ?
If you mean "What universities in KSA award degrees that are internationally recognised ?" then the answer is quite simple
KFUPM in Dhahran and for Islamic Theology Medina.
The rest are not serious institutions. |

Thanks Scot47"
When applying for a job at some of the Uni's in Saudi then there is a list of Western University's approved by the KSA ministry of Ed.
This has sprung from the thread about Degree's from Luton University and how they may not be recognised when applying for jobs out here! |

No, what he means is the list of universities that Saudis accept. However there are only some government institutions that insist on the Saudi Cultural Mission checking this out.
The best place to find out is the Saudi Cultural Mission at the country you are at. Whether they will tell you before you have a job offer is a different matter.
If you could get them to stamp it, then you can just send a copy along with your job application. |
