Once upon a time I had online contact with a company that provides audio and video clips of TV and news from a large number of countries (excluding for the most part, the US and Canada) for download by schools. It is a subscription service. You can download the videos and use them as much as you like in your school as long as you had the subscription.
I inquired about it but since at the time I was working at a school that did not really teach many languages other than English, it didnt seem cost-effective.
Now, Ive started as the lab coordinator at a school which teaches about 10 languages. English is still #1 but there is a push to have more materials availble for the other languages.
Dang it... lost the name and cant seem to have any luck Googling, but I would know the name when I saw it.
Does this ring a bell with anyone? Any links would be appreciated. |
