Hi,
I received an email from Sabis about 2 months ago, asking me to contact them for an interview. First of all, I don't know how they got my email address, because it's not the address I have on TEFL.com and I certainly didn't contact Sabis myself. I wrote back to them saying that I had already gotten a job somehwere else (which was true).
Today I received two emails from Sabis - not general emails because they include my name on them - basically saying: welcome to Sabis, well done in your interview, we look forward to working with you, we'll be sending your details to the school you're working with, and please fill in the attached visa form.
I'm not worried or anything, I just find it extremely strange......Has this happened to anyone else??
I don't know if I should even bother replying, seeing as the last time i replied to them I got no response. Is this just their way of chancing their arm to recruit people?? |

They are either getting desperate for people and just sending offers to any email address that they have or they are just confused and disorganized. I would send off a short email saying that you have never had an interview with them and have no interest.
And if I received anything else, I would just treat like spam.

Spam 'em. Or just tell them to Foxtrot Oscar. |

They're reaching. About half of their slots for the PPP are empty. They've filled some with people from the International Schools, but they don't have near enough. Silly ADEC, they only specified requirements for teachers, but they didn't specify any qualifications for Office Coordinators or AQCs, so there's nobody over 30 and most are under 25 who now hold those positions. Those positions are filled but not the teaching ones from what I understand. |
