|
|
How do landlord and/or rental agencies react to a group of friends wanting to rent together?
e.g: A couple, one of their female friends and one of their male friends, looking to rent a pretty big 3LDK or 4LDK for around 15万円 to 25万円? All four people are gaijin.
I know friends renting together is not common in Japan. It would be in Tokyo.
Or can one person rent the apartment and then sublet the rooms to the other three?
Thanks |

Have not done it myself, but I would think that as long as all of you can prove you have guarantors, it should be no problem. Perhaps case by case with certain realtors, but that is life in Japan.
I don't think subletting is allowed. |

I didn't think the subletting would be a done thing.
Thanks for the info on guarantors. |
