700 rally for more spending on classes
11-10-2008
Some 700 students and teachers from four secondary schools have rallied in Central to demand more government spending on their schools. The protestors say they want to be able to continue their studies without changing schools. However, because their schools haven't attracted enough students for next year's Form 4 classes, the government won't provide new funding for these classes. The protestors, who are being backed by the Professional Teacher's Union, handed a petition to education officials before dispersing without incident. |

Whilst it sounds very loyal to their school, I doubt they have adequate experience to contrast their existing schools to others.
Hence there might be a reason they failed to gain adequate enrollment. |
