Did anyone seriously think that it would happen before Ramadhan?
I don't think it ever will. Cue the next president commuting the sentences to life imprisonment. With the usual pantomime of sentence remission every Aug 17, Id ul Fitri, president's birthday, and indeed every Wednesday when there is an R in the month, they should be free to become TV celebs and Sinetron actors in a year or two. |

| Indonesia are soft on terrorism as way too many of them share the same thoughts and ideals even if they themselves wouldn't strap a bomb on their torsos. They are not and never have been our true allies and the west should realise that. They are like the neighbours we say hello to but would never invite around for a beer or bbq. They are very lucky they are geographically located so close to China, India and Australia with the busiest shipping line running through the middle of them. Otherwise they would not be receiving half as much aid as they currently do. |

seconded. A country which accepts foreign aid with his right hand while slapping the donor around the head with his left. Shame on both parties.
