Hi,

Does anyone have any information on Inlingua? Specifically the one in Almeria. I have read some negative stuff on the Valencia centre on this forum. Does anyone have anything positive on them?

Thanks,

Dawn

Inlingua should be avoided at all costs.

I don't know about avoided at all costs - in a big city I'd agree as there are lots of better alternatives, but when you're in a small city they may be the only decent option and they do have a lot of hours going. I worked for them in Toulouse and though certainly not the best school in the world they kept me alive and well for a year in a provincial city where there really wasn't any other alternative, and they treated me pretty well. I even have to grudgingly admit that their McDonalds style anyone-can-teach scripted classes are not entirely without merit and are certainly at least quite effective.

If you can find alternative work then go for that, but if they're the only gig in town for now (and I suspect Almeria won't exactly be stuffed full of academies) then take it for now then look for other stuff from there.
