On Dec. 10, 2007, Kuwait�s National Assembly amended its criminal code to say that "any person committing an indecent act in a public place, or imitating the appearance of a member of the opposite sex, shall be subject to imprisonment for a period not exceeding one year or a fine not exceeding one thousand dinars [US$3,500]."

And if caught by police, your head will be shaved and you will be send to the black box for 7 days waiting deportation and probably 80 lashes!!

Am not looking for trouble, but information.

There is a lot of talk on DavesEslCafe about sex, alcohol and singles shacking up together, all against 'Islam" haram. But I have yet to see such a negative response such as yours.

Am seeking intelligent info from intelligent lesbians and gays who live in Q8.

Do you think dressing like a Tom Boi will get me arrested ...lol NOT LIKELY.

in my time here, i've known a half dozen gay teachers - most did not go out of their way to conceal their orientation - recently 1 was very publicly fired from a well known college for having a graphic page in a gay man's website (his colleagues apparently didn't like his management style and leaked the info to senior staff - the leaker's contract was not renewed - copies of the page still exist though;))
buzz is that a gay man will not be lonely here
lesbians, otoh, fly really low under the radar, i'm trying to think if i ever knew of one here.....

There must be a scene..............a very famous salon was once owned by a practising 'couple' but they have sold up and moved on.
I wouldn't publicize it at wrk if I was you, your boss, colleagues,students and parents won't be sympathetic.
