Hello,

I am wondering if anyone knows how many days off there are for the Chinese New Year in 2009?

I see that Jan. 26th is the starting day but as I am going to be new in Taiwan would like to know how many days teachers usually get off.

I have searched and Googled but can't seem to find any answers.

I think it depends on the school. At mine, our first day off is Thurs. Jan. 22, and we return to work on Mon. Feb. 2.
