I was asked to critique the structure of this toast:
"May the Gods of Fun imbibe us!"
When I saw it written down, I realized that it appears to be an invocation of Zymurgy's Seventh Law of Evolving Systems Dynamics. That is, once one opens a 'can of worms', the only way to contain them is by using a larger 'can'.
Comments are welcome as I have no idea what it really means.
