Hi Guys
I'm coming back into thailand and need to come in on a non immigrant visa as will organise work when I get in there.
Anyone have any ideas on how I can get one?? There are a few very clever poppits on here lol Someone will have a bright idea!

If you don't have a job organised with accompanying letters, it could be difficult. I'm good mates with the Honourary Thai Consell (or however you spell it) in Brisbane. Here was his response when I tried to arrange one for another friend:

"AS i am sure you are well aware, Thai visa rules have greatly tightned. Your friend would need some sort of letter or invitation from a proposed employer ( even a possible employer ) to get a multi entry visa of the Non-immigrant variety. The concept of getting such visa to have a 'bit of a look around ' for a job is long past out of order for Embassy's and Consulate's."

But perhaps others on this list know better. Good luck.

Hi yeh it is a bit tougher but those in the know can still work around it lol
Its still the land of mountains of paper work and stamps lol
But thanks for taking the time to make a comment, its much appreciated

From where will you apply for a visa? Australia?
