| Would be grateful for any recent experience or info on how feasible it would be for a degree holder, trinity TESOL cert qualified, well experienced teacher (7 + years in Asia in TEFL) to land a relatively short term gig in Bangkok or other parts. Am really only looking at 3-6 months, but have read various stories about visa runs being limited to 3 trips to extend, obligatory Thai culture courses, police checks from consulate to get a visa...yet am only looking for a short term contract. Is it still worth a look at Bangkok or will I spend half my stay fulfilling Thailand's requirements to get an emloyment visa, only to then be at or near the end of my stay? |
