I'm leaving for Bangkok tomorrow for two weeks.
(I have to in order to get my new E-2 visa for working in Korea. Immigration said they can't begin processing my new visa until I leave the country because I have an exit order because I quit my job and cancelled my last visa.)
I'm not complaining, but I'm at a bit of a loss because I've heard the weather kind of sucks in Thailand at the moment. I've already done Bangkok and Phuket already, too. I was hoping some people could chime in.
What fun places are cheap to fly to from Bangkok?
I thought I'd head north because of the Monsoons. I'm considering Kathmandu or Bangladesh.
What's up with Burma? Is there a cool resort on the west coast there? |

| Kanchanaburi, 2 hours by bus from BKK can be nice and peaceful. |
