I am wondering if there are any schools out there that only teach adults, in the Tokyo or Chiba area. I am tired of working at Junior HS. I am looking for a school that doesn't have me moving around either. I would like to teach at one school, to only adults. Preferably 2 days off in a row. Do they exist? If so, can someone help me out with names.
Thanks in advanced. |

of course, not everyone is cut out for teaching kids but remember
"the grass is always greener"
I can't say whether you are doing the right thing, only you can say that but going from my own experience, teaching adults isn't always smooth
in some ways they are harder to please (as they are paying you directly? or the school) |

I understand this, as I have taught adults before in an eikawa. I actually enjoyed it. But, now that I've taught in a JHS for the last 3 years, I am a little tired of it. Being the class clown is wearing thin. I want to go back to teaching adults only. |

I know this feeling, that's why I make it clear that my only students will be adults and I will not 'do them a big big favour' and tutor their, their neighbour's or somebody else's kids. It's really much better emotionally with adults. Well, I hate kids, anyway |

I haven't worked there but I think GABA only teaches adults and one-on-one only. You might try there. |
