I've been asking around here. I'm looking to hire an Electrical Engineering consultant, for some DC design and layout work. I know salaries are going to be in a range, but can someone give me an idea for a first year student out of Uni, and for a more experienced engineer?

Also, what about computer programmers?

It seems that some tech people are a dime a dozen. I met a guy working at a sanwich shop who had his diploma in Industrial Design... But I would like to know what kind of offers to make people if I'm looking for a good contracted employee.

I found out the answer according to electrical engineering times. Average salary for EE in Taiwan as of (I think) 2005 was around 22K USD per year.
