What do you know about the Plaza Hotel? Do you know it and what it's like? Worth booking a room?

The Plaza Hotel is smack in the middle of downtown, next to a big shopping mall called the al-Mutana Center. It's not what I'd call a bad hotel, but it's not top-shelf, either. It's a convenient location if you have business downtown, but the area is noisy.

I'd suggest the Safir or the SAS. The Safir is close to downtown, and you'll get to see all of the people coming and going who think they are Da Big Shawarma. Maybe you'll see Somebody Really Important trip and fall on the escalator.
