M personal recommendation for teaching English in Mongolia: Engram Language School. I designed the website last June-July: http://www.engram.mn/
The Director: N. Munkhtsetseg is a gem. She is an honest business-person who really tries to work with her students and her teachers. She does not intrude upon the instructor's personal life; yet she is always there, willing to help.
The only reason I do not teach in her organization - I don't like teaching English. I prefer teaching Social Sciences and Business etc.
Best of luck to you all in Mongolia. |

I have heard good things about them. I understand that several teachers from UEIS migrated there last year.
Unfortunately, I have had no first-hand experience with them.

Wow! I did this site back in summer of 2006 (gratis). I just clicked the link. The site is correct - including the 2005 fee schedule for students.
My main point in directing prospective teachers to the site was so that you would get the contact information for the school...
My recommendation still stands. |

"The American Andy" as I called him, a great guy, excellent guitarist and khoomii singer went there about 2 years ago after leaving Santis.
He told me that management was total nonsense.
The American School obviously attracted new blood with high salaries, nice facilities but daily reality seems to be a bit different from the facade.
Someone I know started there about a month ago and is now so depressed and considering leaving that he asked if the Russian school needed anymore teachers.
But,to be fair, I am sure that some teachers do have some good things to say about it.
Let's wait a bit. |
