Would I have to take my nose ring out to teach?

Would a stud be more appropriate?

Taiwan is pretty conservative.
I doubt very seriously that any manager would allow it.
For most jobs you can dress casually, jeans and a t-shirt.
But it's standard to be clean shaven and properly groomed.
I would just remove any piercing during working hours or at school events.
