I'm in the middle of a CELTA course and trying to sort out my options for what to do after.
I've been to Turkey and I like the culture, and could imagine myself working there.
Does anyone know the best way to go about sorting out a job? Should I just get a cheap flight and stay in a hostel for a few nights, and approach language schools for interviews?
I have 4 months teaching experience, a BA and I'm a UK citizen. Thanks for any advice. |

You would probably be better off checking out job ads- use google search engine tool- Most places do initial interview by phone. Goodluck |

Come and check it out - at the worst, you get a great week in Turkey. At the best, you get a job and get to stay. I have known many people who have come and gotten a job within the first week or 2. Luckily in Turkey almost everyone can work under the table so you don't have to wait for work permits, etc. to start working.
Good luck!!! |

Thank you for the replies. I applied to a school and have been offered a position there, so won't need to go to Turkey to job hunt |
