Does anyone have any experience of the British International School, Shanghai, either as a parent of a student or as a teacher themselves? I'm especially interested from anyone who has experience of teaching years 12-13 there.
The fees are quite high, 211,755 rmb a year for years 12-13 so I am guessing the school caters to well-to-do ex-pats who have simply been posted to China but who retain their western style salary:

The curriculum and the facilities seem great, but does anyone actually have any experience at this institution? Any and all information would be much appreciated.
Thanks! |

Very funny, well done! So mature!
It does not surprise me that Mister Al and Arioch don't have any experience of an international school setting. I'm guessing the tuition fees alone amount to more than you earn, right?
When I started to read this forum about a year ago I thought it mighty unfair of eslstudies to refer to ESL instructors in China as 'flotsam' and 'jetsam':

But now I'm starting to have second thoughts. Perhaps this wasn't an unfair characterisation after all...... |
