Im going home to Australia in July (we are currently applying for a spouse visa for the husband) after my contract runs out, Ive spent the last 4 years here teaching without qualifications But have gained a lot of experience. All I did at the beginning was a month in-training with the company.
I'd like to know where I can find a CELTA course in Australia, particularly in Queesland. Where do I look? Universities or TAFE colleges?
I have wanted to do the course at TBI here in Jakarta but its always run during the school terms here so I dont have time to do it. Otherwise there was the Bali option, but I dont want to be stuck in Bali for 6 weeks either.
Is the CELTA the best option or should I look at doing something else?
I know we'll (my husband and I) eventually move back to Indonesia one day... and at least I'll have a certificate up my sleeve ..... |

Just do a web search, CELTA courses are easy to find. I think both TAFE and Uni offer them. |

More generally, the Cambridge ESOL page will give you a list of "learning centres" where you can take CELTA, DELTA, etc by country:

To answer TK's question, there are three in Brisbane and one in Cairns. |
