As long as you stay away from IH Wrocław. It looks nice and is in the rynek but it is poorly ran! I didn't enjoy my time there! |

I have a problem with the above quote as it suggests that lundjstuart ('J') was employed for a time at IH Wroclaw. This is not at all the case. J attended the September 2007 CELTA at IH Wroclaw, and was judged to have failed the course by three tutors and an external assessor. Those who have seen any of J's posts in this forum - and, by extension, his grasp of the English language - will immediately see why.
His assertion that the school is poorly ran I consider to be no more than sour grapes on his part. |

Personal attacks on students/customers by what seems to be employed members of staff of a teaching institution is an abhorrent and completely unacceptable act. I hope you'll edit your post asap. |

'IH in Wrocław sucks balls!!'
If J wishes to make such childish statements elsewhere on this forum, and continually criticise the school from an obviously biased and bitter viewpoint, then it is necessary the balance be redressed. This is not abhorrent but simply fair play. |

Your opinion is yours and you're free to express it.
Discussing confidential information however you come across it is not (and I understand CELTA and all exam results are), nor will ever be, fair play. The fact that you've posted something that could seriously damage someones character/business whether you agreed with him or not is outrageous. The post has been reported and I hope you'll have the common sense to remove the damaging parts of your post and later I hope the mods will delete this conversation.
I suspect that IH will get a few angry calls tomorrow about how it lets exam results and information be freely discussed on the internet. It certainly doesn't say much for the course, school or its employees. |

I think you intend to say poorly run. Whatever. I did a summer DELTA there and found it to be extremely well run. Had I failed the course, I would still have said it was well run, and then admitted to myself that I was just not up to the demands of the course. |

I thought Dave's excercised Stalin-esque purges on slanderous statements against schools anyway, so I would expect all of these comments to disappear into the ether soon enough. |

Poorly ran- Asked for housing, they said that it would be close, I had to travel for over an hour to get to class, 2 hours+ round trip! 18 students and only 1 tutor was there until you had to teach, what happens when you have a question about the material? You can't ask because there are 17 other students asking also! I wont even mention about the internet at my flat, 3 working computers in the computer room. What else do you want me to write about it? Do you think this is worth 5k to you? What did I pay for with my 5k?
gbwroc- I don't know who you are but I really hope that you don't live in Warsaw! If you do, you better watch your back like an ex-KBG officer! |

gbwroc-
I never said that I did work there, I simply said that" I didn't enjoy my time there", in no way, shape nor form did I say that I worked there! If you are a tutor from my course, I'm reporting this to CELTA notifying them that IH Wrocław is releasing private information over the internet without the consent of both parties! Good luck not having CELTA at your school anymore! |

Oooh dear! I must immediately point out that I agree entirely that revealing exam results is entirely unacceptable. But J has previously mentioned elsewhere in this forum that he failed the course - in the post where he talks about ball-sucking. I'm not revealing anything new, just shedding light on J's anti-IH comments.
Also, I am not the tutor from the course. I am a DELTA participant from the Summer course. Views expressed by me are nothing to do with IH or any of the tutors.
And no J, I do not live in Warsaw so shall not need to watch my back. I'm sorry I upset you, but threatening me with violent and squelchy rape is the true crime that has been commited.
