Can those who are living, or have lived, in Brunei please let me know what horse riding opportunities are available in BSB for my 8 year old daughter. I can only find limited information about lessons.
Thanks in advance

Brunei is a very small country ...only 360,000 odd people...horse riding is not high on the list of recreational activities. Nor is Brunei really a country in which it is easy to 'ride over the fields'...or along quiet roads ...there aren't any!

BEQ Sdn Bhd (below) advertise themselves as the only horse riding venue in Brunei....they are down at Jerudong, close to the Sultan's Polo venue....15 mins out of Bandar centre

Contact ust at 2611898 or Fax 2611788

If that is the one you have heard of ...then I think that's it!

Yes, my daughter did horseriding at the Jerudong Polo Club - the address Celtica gives. It was very good - some beautiful green fields there for sure! Also lovely rides along the beautiful beach nearby..

There are many quiet roads which would be good for horseriding, but it is not the way of things here...I lived in the rural backwoods of Jerudong, where it was common to see buffalo and goats being herded along the road - but no horses!

And that's why God invented the hyphen!

I've been to Brunei only once. However, I do recall meeting some very odd people indeed.
