Hello,
As an EFL teacher, I'm looking for a teaching position. But I also have experience as a soft-skills trainer (communication skills, conflict resolution), and I'm wondering if anyone out there might be doing or have tips for finding this kind of work, in the Middle East or anywhere else for that matter. Any companies, recruiting agencies, or general search tips you have would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to send me a private message if you wish. Thanks in advance. |

Hi.
Kuwait Government Ministries and the Private Sector often bring in Lecturers for such Training Programmes from Britain and USA, etc.
Sessions are held at 5 Star Hotels mostly but some In-House/Workplace.
Although not officially permitted, many Teachers also do Private English Tuition @ KD 15 per hour.
If and when actually working in Kuwait, you could promote your Extra Services on a fee basis then develop such into a business.
A foreigner can run business with a Licence in their own name and have an Iqama with it [Residence Visa 1 , at the Sea Port Free Zone in Shwaikh without a Kuwaiti Sponsor.
Lots of us could show you the ropes here ... and some pitfalls, lol. |
