Hello all,
after reading page upon page on the forum, it appears that most ESL teachers are not working in public schools. I am thinking about moving from Korea to Taiwan next year. I am currently at a public school/EPIK in Korea and I would like to be in a public school in Taiwan next spring. I have a BS of Ed degree and current state teacher's certification from the US, so I should meet the requirements.
Has anyone made a similar switch? It appears that the salary is similar, conditions similar, vacation, etc. What are the big differences? Class sizes? I currently have 600+ students per week, so I am no stranger to large classes.
Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated!
