Looking for my place

I am considering a move to Caracas and am wondering if anyone has any recent experience there. I have heard everything from what a great, cosmo city it is, to the people who were scared to leave their apartment. Yes, I know I need to take every opinion with a grain of salt but many of the post are a few years old and with the political situation constantly changing there, I am wondering if anyone has any info on the current danger factor.
