Hi,
First of all I'd like to thank you for your post as it has Really helped me out. I will submit my application on Monday but there are a few things I'm uncertain about. I hope you could shed some light on these matters. Sorry, its long but I really really need your help.
I applied for my E. no through a recruitment agency. There, the staff helped me to arrange all my docs properly for submission.
1) However, when the staff arranged all my docs, he just photocopied the certs (the ones that were endorsed by MOFA & Saudi Embassy). He said I only need to submit the photocopies and I can keep the ones that are the original certified copies (the ones with the official signs and stamps). I found this kind of weird---I mean did you do the same or did you submit the ones which were endorsed?
2) The staff told me to leave the arrival and departure dates blank. He said that it's not necessary to fill that up. He also told me that I might be asked to show my ticket if I put in the dates (the company hiring me told me once I put in the application, they will then book the flight).
What did you do?
This worries me as he told me, in case the embassy staff asks me for my ticket, I should say that I left it at home and the I should go and book my flight (just a copy of the booking page will do).
3) The staff also told me that I should bring all my passports (current and precious ones). It's some sort of a new rule. Did that apply to you? I mean I only have my current and 1 previous passport with me and not the other old copies.
4) Finally, he said that I might need a chamber letter from Fire Star. He said if I was asked for this, I should tell the embassy that it is not applicable for me as I'm applying by myself and not through any agencies in Malaysia. I do have the power of attorney from the Saudi Chamber.
This is my first time and I am really worried as I really hope to get to KSA.
Thank you in advance for reading this and helping me out.
Thanks. |

hi there.
I have read through your queries and suggestions/directives provided by the Recruitment agency and everything seem to be just that.
I must add that rules change everyday with Saudi embassy in KL and you just have to trust the recruitment agency to handle the process for you.
I wish you best of luck and welcome to KSA. |
