Hi,
I'm looking at basing in Spain or Portugal for a year or so and am looking at possible areas. I like the look of Seville , as its close to Portugal as well and looks beautiful. I'm a single woman in my early 40's and so very tired of Thailand for lots of reasons. I have an online business as well as teaching english, so would like just somewhere nice to base, fun with friendly people.
Suggestions most welcome. I'm not into too much quiet, quite like places full of character and a bit of hustle and bustle.
Cheers |

Yes...I too am planning on developing a base in in Sevilla, cooperating with a Sevilla married couple who have an olive farm there. The man is a musician and painter, who played here in Shanghai for a year. We've been talking of the great potential for a whole-brained/multiple-intelligence Community Language Learning environment.
Keep me posted, folks...perhaps we can develop a project together...
Have any folks heard of Value International Language School in Sevilla? |

Value international is a scam - see my separate thread on it. |

Well, Im writing to you from Seville
There is work here, Seville is a nice place but not very big, you will get bored after about a year. Sevillanos and foreigners dont mix very much for some reason and the expat group is quite "expat". Spanish is very very hard to learn here as it is all dialect. Yes its beautiful and dreamy, but expensive, and after a year you will get bored... |
