| I am looking to take a TEFL course there and am wondering about working there after. Any Canadians?Americans there that can tell me more about working, living, finding a place to live etc? I have heard from another that the visa process is pretty involved- how about without? |

| Firstly, unless you have very specialised qualifications (MA in relevant field etc) it's 99% certain that you won't get a visa. As for working illegally that's up to you. It's obviously doable but borders have tightened up and the economy is very poor shape. Why not look into other options like the American language assistant programme? |

Agreed. Lots of Americans here can't get jobs and advertise their services for EU10 per hour. If you can live on EU10 per hour (EU300 a week, if you're lucky), then I hear EasyJet do cheap flights. |
