Do you want to know about Al Musannah the place, or Al Musannah College of Technology? |

Hi,
I am considering the Omani Air Force college.Does anyone know about the working conditions and accommodation? Is it true that in many locations in Oman they have to work split shifts? |

You are talking about the Air Force Technical College, which is at the Royal Air Force of Oman base at Seeb, not RAFO Musannah.
You cannot join AFTC as such. You would have to sign a contract with RAFO, and they will then post you to wherever they think the need is greatest. The difficulty here is that the needs of the RAFO Directorate vof Education and Military Culture may not always coincide with your wishes.
At the end of last year, a very experienced teacher resigned rather that be posted to the Royal Navy of Oman base at Wudam. He had previously held a senior post at Wudam, and he preferred to resign rather than go back in a lesser capacity. |
