Hola everyone,
I was just wondering if anybody had any suggestions for me....I have my BA in english and my TEFL. I taught English in BA for about 4 months and it really was not my cup of tea...not to mention, I was barely making enough money to survive. That being said, Im thinking of finding a place that will, more or less, pay for my room and board in exchange for English lessons.
I am currently in Peru traveling north, overland through Ecuador to Colombia. I would "ideally" like to land in a smaller city or village on the beach in Ecuador or Colombia (although Im well aware that these positions are few and far between) At this point Im even beginning to consider C.A. and Mexico, although, this was initially farther than I wanted to travel.
I hear its possible to make pretty good money in Colombia...although I think this may be limited to Bogota....and I know you can make money in Mexico....any suggestions of places to go? I would greatly appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.....thankyou!!! |

Peru? Where? Piura? I lived there. Here are the two places I know about.
Intercultura, in Costa Rica
www.spanish-intercultura.com
[email protected]
Dunham Institute, in Mexico
www.dunhaminstitute.com
[email protected]
No first hand knowledge, but I've heard nothing but good things about them.
Good luck and if you're intersted in staying in Peru, let me know. I know good places in Piura and Lima to work for. |
