|
|
This place seems to be dominated by the male persuasion (I'm the only female native speaker at two of my jobs), but I know a lot of you have significant others who are lovely Polish ladies, so perhaps you could ask them...?
Where can I get birth control pills here? Do I need a prescription, or can I just get them at an apteka?
Merci. |

I can help you out with your question.
In Poland, you need a prescription for birth control pills.
My wife used to get the prescription from her sister who is a doctor.
Nothing available over the counter......sorry. |

Lovely! Anyone know a decent English-speaking doctor that's not going to charge me an arm and a leg? I'll have a look around the forum...
Thanks for the info! |

Make sure you go to a gynecologist. General doctors can only give a prescription for one month. Gynecologists can give for six months. I'd recommend Medicover, they aren't the cheapest but they have very good doctors and it'll be no problem to ask for one who speaks English. |

Good luck with it! My wife used to get a 3 months supply from her sister.Harry's suggestion sounds capital!Unfortunately,Krakow is not my stomping grounds, so I can't recommend a good doctor for you.Maybe another of our fine posters can? |

Dr Pizda???? LMFAO!!!
He/she should come to work in Romania. Pizda is a vulgar Romanian word for c-you-nt. What a perfect name for a gyno! |
