In Oman, as you will know if you live here, rentals have gone and continue to go not only through the roof but far beyond that. Landlords sometimes act illegally or think of "clever" schemes to extract ever more money. There is a lot more I could say, but will desist.
Where can I find - perhaps someone could provide it, here on this site - an overview of the legal situation, including details of His Majesty the Sultan's royal decree on the subject, and the avenues of redress to those who find themselves victims? |
