Hey guys I'm starting my training in Warabi nextweek and Ive been doing some research on forums and from what ive learned from my brief reading of the forums:
1) bring an omiyagi (no required but helpful)
2) bring lots of deoderant (idk why but like 5 threads ive read around the web say so)
Basicly im looking for any advice I can get be it teaching, or just misc. info. Thanks in advance ^^/ |

Don't sweat gifts. Flavored coffee or individually wrapped cookies will enthrall your office staff sufficiently.
Deodorant. Well, if you've read 5 threads, you should know why. Summer heat and humidity is pretty bad here, and local deodorant doesn't work well on foreigners. |

I find the local deodorant works fine (and my husband would tell me pretty quickly if it wasn't working), but if you want to be sure you should bring some from home.
One I like here is the Crystal Stone range- no nasty aluminium compounds. |

Hi. Getting ready to head back to Japan, myself. One thing on my mind, at least, is allergies in March and April. If you happen to be a sufferer like me, bring your own meds. Japan has Allegra and other formulations, but the dosages never did me any good. |
